WHAT WILL THE 2025-2026
DEVELOPMENT/COMPETITIVE PROGRAM LOOK LIKE?

Fall Training - 4 weeks of Outdoor Turf Field Training - October
○ Outdoor practices on Mondays and Wednesdays - Oshawa Civic Outdoor Fields


Winter Training -14 weeks Indoor Turf Training:  Nov - Mar
○ 2-3 practices a week  (including gym sessions & technical training)
○ Exhibition games against other teams in the region (Dates TBD)


Spring Training7 weeks of Spring Turf & Grass Field Training: April - Mid May
○ 2-3 practices a week  (including gym sessions & technical training)


Summer Season - 15 to 18 weeks of Outdoor Grass Field Training and weekly league games: Mid May - Mid September
○ 2 practices per week
○ 1 game per week (games could be anywhere across the Durham region)

WHAT ARE THE FEES TO JOIN A COMPETITIVE TEAM?

Club Fees for the 2025/2026 Operational Year fall under the  following rates:
 

OSL - $1250

iModel - $2,150

District  [U14 - U18] - $1,950

Grassroots [U9 - U13] - $1,850

LTPD [U8]  - $1,250
 

Payments are collected in Installments (either by online payment or through the team)

THE  OTSC
MENS ADULT LEAGUE

As excitement continues to build around the launch of our NEW OTSC Men’s Adult Outdoor Summer League, we wanted to answer some of the most common questions we have been receiving.


WHAT IS THE OTSC ADULT MEN’S LEAGUE?

The OTSC Adult Men’s League is a NEW outdoor summer soccer league operated by Oshawa Turul Soccer Club designed to provide an organized, competitive, community-focused playing environment for adult players across Durham Region. As an Ontario Soccer sanctioned club, the is providing a different pathway for Adults looking to still play and stay active. As registered members you are also covered by OS Insurance during the season.


WHEN ARE GAMES PLAYED?


Weekly every Wednesday:  Starting June 3, 2026 - September 2, 2026 6:00-7:00pm
7:00-8:00pm The season will run for 13 weeks, excluding Canada Day.

 


WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEE?

 

Your $280 registration includes:


✅ 13-week outdoor season
✅ Official league jersey
✅ Live tracked player stats & standings
✅ Organized convenor
✅ End-of-season tournament
✅ Championship trophy
✅ OTSC league administration & scheduling


(Those registered for summer 2026 will be offered $50 credit toward Fall/Winter indoor league)

 


CAN I REGISTER AS AN INDIVIDUAL PLAYER?


Yes.


Individual players are welcome and will be placed onto teams based on registration numbers and roster needs. We see the majority of registered players coming in as individuals. Registration is all done through SportsEngine (link below at bottom of page)

DROP-IN’s or INELIGIBLE PLAYERS?


Payment is upfront through Sports Engine, your registration is what provides you access to our program and your insurance coverage in alignment with Ontario Soccer. No Walkons or unregistered player/ substitutions are allowed.

OTSC ADULT MEN’S LEAGUE (Discipline and Suspensions)

 

  • Ontario Soccer policies

  • Durham Region Soccer Association (DRSA) standards

  • OTSC Code of Conduct & Zero Tolerance expectations


Players are expected to demonstrate sportsmanship and respect toward:

  • Opposing players

  • Match officials

  • Convenors

  • Spectators

  • OTSC staff and volunteers


Disciplinary actions may include:

 

  • Warnings

  • Match suspensions

  • Removal from matches

  • League suspension

  • Expulsion from the league in severe cases


Serious misconduct, abusive language, violent conduct, or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated.


All disciplinary decisions made by league organizers and OTSC Administration will be considered final.

 


CAN I REGISTER A FULL TEAM?


Absolutely.
Teams, groups of friends, coworkers, former teammates, and community groups are all encouraged to register together. Please connect with admin@oshawaturul.com to register a team versus individual.

 


WHAT IS THE SKILL LEVEL?


The league is designed to be competitive, organized, and fun. We will ensure ages are balanced and not stacked. We expect a mix of:


Former competitive players
Recreational players
Current players
Coaches
OTSC alumni
Community members looking to stay active


HOW MANY PLAYERS ARE ON A TEAM?


Final roster sizes will depend on total registration numbers, but teams are expected to carry enough players to support weekly attendance and substitutions.
We are targeting 7v7 games


WILL THERE BE REFEREES?


Yes. Games will be certified officiated with a single Referee to maintain a structured and organized playing environment. Officiating is one of the most important pieces to make this work well.


WILL STANDINGS AND STATS BE TRACKED?


Yes.
Weekly standings and player statistics will be tracked throughout the season, including goals. We use an APP based system called soccershift.com (sample below)
 

WHAT DOES THE CHAMPIONSHIP LOOK LIKE?


At the conclusion of the season, teams will compete in an End-of-Season Championship Game to determine the inaugural OTSC Adult Men’s League Champions.
The winning team will receive:


🏆 The OTSC Adult League Championship Trophy
🏆 Recognition as the inaugural league champions
🏆 League recognition through OTSC social media and communications


As this is our FIRST season, the inaugural championship team will forever become part of OTSC Adult League history.


WHERE WILL GAMES BE PLAYED?


Summer Season is played on a lined-maintained Oshawa Soccer City field. Locations and finalized schedules will be communicated to registered players once divisions are finalized.
Fall | Winter are played inside on Turf (Civic or Ontario Tech)


WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T HAVE A TEAM?


No problem.  Individual players will be assigned to teams to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate.


IS THIS A RECREATIONAL OR COMPETITIVE LEAGUE?


The Adult League is our recreational division - players should expect organized matches, competitive play, and a strong community atmosphere.


WHAT HAPPENS IN INCLEMENT WEATHER?


Player safety is always our top priority. In the event of severe weather, field closures, lightning, unsafe playing conditions, or facility restrictions, games may be postponed or rescheduled.


Whenever possible:

 

  • Makeup games will be scheduled

  • Schedule updates will be communicated promptly

  • Players will be notified through email and/or league communication channels


Please note:


Light rain alone will not automatically cancel games.
WHEN DOES REGISTRATION CLOSE?
Registration will remain open until divisions and roster spots are filled.
As this is our inaugural season, space will be limited.
