Competitive Program Refund Policy

Applies to: All competitive program tiers (District/Regional, CISL/iModel, and Competitive Grassroots)

1. Deposits Are Non-Refundable

The registration deposit secures your child's roster spot and is non-refundable under all circumstances.

2. All Other Refunds Are at the Executive Board's Discretion

Every refund request is reviewed individually by the Oshawa Turul Soccer Club Executive Board, which decides whether to approve a refund and how much, based on factors such as:

  • When the withdrawal request is made

  • The reason for the request

  • Costs the Club has already committed on the player's behalf (league fees, uniforms, coaching, facilities)

  • Whether the withdrawal is family-initiated or Club-initiated

The Executive Board gives particular consideration to requests involving season-ending injury (with a doctor's note), relocation, documented family hardship, or a Club-initiated team change.

If a player is released from a team by coaching staff for reasons other than a code of conduct or Zero Tolerance Policy violation, the family may request a refund for the remaining season under this same discretionary process. Players dismissed for a conduct or Zero Tolerance violation are not eligible for a refund.

The Executive Board's decision on any individual request does not set a precedent for other requests.

3. How to Request a Refund

  1. Submit a Refund Request to admin@oshawaturul.com.

  2. The Executive Board reviews the request and responds in writing, typically within 15 business days.

  3. Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within 30 business days of the decision.
