Oshawa Turul Soccer Club was founded in 1971 by Miklos Springer, an immigrant from Hungary. Named after the mythical Turul bird, a symbol of Hungarian heritage, the club has grown into an integral part of the Oshawa community providing memorable moments and fond memories to many who have grown up in the region.
