WHAT IS BARON'S FOOTBALL LEAGUE?
Baron Von Der Rode
AKA
The Baron
The Baron's Football League (The BFL) was created by Baron von Der Rode to offer a competitive soccer league both for former players looking for casual footballing experiences and newcomers to the sport looking to grow their passion for the game.

Baron wanted to create a league where competition was king, but no one would feel lesser, or unincluded for their skill level. Former players with semi-professional or higher levels of experience found a home playing with friends in local Durham Region based leagues, and for years competed in friendly games, leagues within leagues, and weekend tournaments and skill games that created everlasting memories!

Now, with the help of Oshawa Turul Soccer Club, The Baron's Football League has found a new home.

"For those of you who have been on this journey with me over the years, the friends, teammates and even rivals who have helped build this dream into a reality, I want to thank you!"

WHO IS THE BARON'S LEAGUE FOR?
If you woke up this morning, and your knees, neck or back didn't work like they used to in your early 20's, then the BFL is for you.

If you're tired of signing up for recreational leagues with your friends and facing super-teams scoring worldies and putting in full body tackles like they don't have work in the morning, then the BFL is for you.

If you're a high level player who is looking for a league where you can mentor other players who may not have the same experience, or just enjoy some light-hearted competition with tournament's, prizes and family oriented fun, then the BFL is for you.
There are so many reasons that adults join a soccer league, whether it's for fitness, family, or just for a bit of fun, The Baron's Football League is offering a place for co-ed players over the age of 30 to enjoy fair and friendly competition.

The Baron's Football League was designed to be a home for former players from the professional level, to the amateur sunday league footballer. We accept people of all races, creeds and abilities, offering an environment where it's not just about winning the game, but having fun and playing for those beside you.
